Vikings Takes Two From Ranger


Game one was tied at two with Grayson batting in the bottom of the fourth when Danielle Humphrey hit a two run home run to put the Vikings on top.

 

Grayson put up four runs in the sixth inning. Baylee McBrannon, Morgan Lewis, Shelby Fleming, and Humphrey each had RBIs in the frame.

 

Kylie Williams got the win for Grayson. She went six innings, allowing two runs on two hits and striking out four.

 

Grayson tallied ten hits in the game led by Skylar Shedlock, Morgan Lewis, and Baylee McBrannon who had two apiece. 

 

Grayson jumped out to an early lead over Ranger and took a 7-1 victory in game two. The Vikings scored on a single by Skylar Shedlock and a double by Desiray Sauseda in the first inning.

 

Grayson secured the victory thanks to five runs in the sixth inning. The big inning was thanks to home runs by Shelby Fleming and Danielle Humphrey, a walk by Alexus White, and a groundout by Cailyn Cunningham.

 

Olivia Gutierrez was credited with the victory for Grayson. She allowed five hits and one run over seven innings, striking out eight.

 

Grayson scattered 11 hits in the game with Fleming, Sauseda, and Shedlock each managing multiple hits.
